The initiative places a strong focus on women and children in shelters and community centres, while remaining open to supporting other disadvantaged individuals and communities where practical assistance can make a meaningful difference.
Support includes practical skills development, work-readiness preparation, computer and communication skills, budgeting, interview preparation, CV development, clothing and essential resources, and other forms of assistance that help people move towards greater independence.
